Livestreams have been one of the silver linings of the COVID-19 lockdown.
These livestream performances have helped us preserve our sanity as we stayed home.
Some artists performed to support charities. Some performed to support their crew. And many performed to support themselves when their ability to earn a living through traditional means was shut down.
While a small percentage of live performers could sit back and collect their royalty checks, many needed a paying audience to survive. So, we wanted to keep the light on for these incredible artists and urged viewers to donate what they could.
When FindLiveStreams was created, the intention was to highlight upcoming streams to help musicians and to give music lovers something to look forward to during the COVID-19 lockdown. One year and thousands of livestreams later, we are now becoming a time capsule that showcases the positive actions musicians took to help others amid the pandemic. And we can use your help. While we’ve been doing our best to include every COVID-19 livestream in our archive, we may have missed one of your favorites. Please share it with us so that we can include it!
