#SongsOfComfort Yo-Yo Ma and Angélique Kidjo: Blewu

In March 2020, famed concert cellist Yo-Yo Ma initiated the #SongsOfComfort project, an online concert series intended to provide comfort at a time of anxiety and fear. Here, Yo-Yo Ma and Beninese-American singer-songwriter Angélique Kidjo performed “Blewu,” a Ewe dirge for the dead and anthem of thanks.
