Tom Misch and Yussef Dayes: Tiny Desk (Home) Concert

During the COVID-19 lockdown, the Tiny Desk team worked from home and featured artists who performed from their homes keeping with the same Tiny Desk vibe. In this concert, producer Tom Misch and drummer Yussef Dayes performed two songs from their 2020 collaborative album What Kinda Music. Performing with a little help from several frequent collaborators, the duo brought their hypnotic brand of R&B to the Tiny Desk stage. Pop star and Dead & Company guitarist John Mayer contributed a guitar solo on opening track “Nightrider.”
